Who is Paul Adey?

Paul Adey is a Nigerian-born American singer and songwriter from Atlanta, Georgia.

 

His music history stems from singing at an early age. He would make up songs with catchy melodies that would help him remember directions and school material. As a lead singer in the band “Sanctified”, he toured and performed at several churches and colleges. Paul Adey also competed in Campus Superstar, a singing competition for college students from all over Georgia and was the 2014 winner of the Demo With Celebrities competition. Recently you may have seen him broadcast nationally singing the Star Spangled Banner for the National Science Olympiad Tournament at UCF streamed live.

 

Most of his musical influences derive from cultural hymns and artists like Stevie Wonder and John Legend. With a soulful, smooth voice, Paul Adey mixes R&B, pop, and hip hop to create his bold melodies and punching lyrics. In latest news, Paul Adey collaborated with international songwriter Marciano and producer Rhythm Instrumental to create the riveting and sexy record “FWB” (Friends With Benefits). It is the first single off of his much anticipated EP, ABBRV (Abbreviation). ABBRV features 7 dynamic records that are sure to gain mainstream attention. For those of you who can’t get enough, get into the Bonus Track that will also be on the EP. “I wanted to create an album that will show the world a glimpse of who I am as an artist, hence the name Abbreviation. There is still much more to who I am, but this is just a small taste.”
